The Grundfos submersible pumps of the "SP 4" series can be found wherever submersible pumps are used for professional applications.
Areas of application:
Drinking water supply
Tank filling
Irrigation
Groundwater lowering
Irrigation of large sports fields and golf courses
Field irrigation
Seawater pumping
Environmental protection applications
Installed frost-proof in the well, the SP submersible pump does not cause any disturbing operating noise. Power is supplied by means of three-phase alternating current (power current) 3 x 400 V, 50 Hz. All parts of the pump that come into contact with the water are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304), which ensures a long service life and does not affect the quality of the water.
The pump is equipped with a flanged 3-phase glandless submersible motor with sand deflector, liquid-lubricated plain bearings and expansion diaphragm. The motor is characterised by high efficiency over a wide power range. The pump is equipped with two eyelets for attaching the (stainless steel) rope safety device. SP series pumps are supplied from the factory with a replaceable motor cable.

Advantages:
State-of-the-art hydraulics for increased pump performance and reduced energy costs.
Particularly energy-efficient in accordance with the ErP Directive of the European Union (EU Regulation No. 547/2012)
High-quality stainless steel inside and out for maximum reliability
Resistance to abrasion by sand and other abrasive materials
Resistance to aggressive water
Protection against motor overheating in combination with optional electronic motor protection MP204
Protection against dry running in combination with MP204
Monitoring and communication via the MP 204 control unit for optimum pump operation
Notes:
The submersible pump may be used to pump pure, thin-bodied, non-explosive media without solid or long-fibre constituents and at a maximum temperature of 40°C. If a liquid with a density different from water is to be pumped, the motor power then required must be taken into account due to the change in hydraulic power. When pumping liquids with an aggressiveness greater than that of drinking water, special designs must be used. Please contact us in this case. The maximum sand content of the water must not exceed 50 g/m³. A higher sand content reduces the service life and increases the risk of the pump blocking. The pump can be installed vertically or horizontally.
